The Psychology Mentorship Programme is an intensive mentorship process to build skills and personal insight and development.
Many Psychology students end up feeling stuck & very unsure of how to proceed once they’ve completed their studies. This course takes you on a journey to prepare yourself for the next step on your Psychology journey. Some people think that becoming a psychologist is the only route, but there are many options. We help you, through this process of self-reflection and building of skills to tailor a personal path for each person to travel.
Course Outline:
• Assistance with preparation & applying for your Masters.
• Assistance with creating a personal path for each individual student to travel.
• Providing you with personal insight.
• Relevant interview & panel skills.
• Help & guidance in understanding your future clients
• Understanding Theoretical Frameworks and its relevance within a South African context.
• Research Skills
• Case study: Diagnosis and treatment plan.
• Basic Counselling Skills
• Case study skills
• Training on understanding diagnosis and the development of treatment plans AND SO MUCH MORE!
This course is designed and run by Chrysalis DTS facilitators: Michelle Lawrence and Cayleigh Lawrence.
It is conducted weekly, via live Zoom sessions for 6 months.
